Welcome to the Magnolia API v2 documentation.

What this API is for​

Magnolia API v2 (payments-core) lets your product give customers a place to hold dollars and crypto, move money in and out, and convert between them, without you building custody, compliance, or payment rails yourself.

In plain terms, you can:

  • Open accounts for your customers under your organization
  • Bring money in (ACH or crypto deposits)
  • Convert between USD and Bitcoin
  • Send money out to a bank account or an external crypto address

That is the goal: embed custodial fiat and crypto accounts, on/off ramps, and conversion into your app so your customers can fund, hold, trade, and withdraw through Magnolia.

payments-core is Magnolia’s name for this model. Each end customer is a user. That user can have one or more accounts for balances, funding, conversion, and withdrawals, all scoped to your organization.
